We’ve been in Fife almost for a month and apart from popping into Edinburgh once to do a massive shopping haul with our wedding present vouchers, Tuesday was the first time that I had the opportunity to wander round the city, while Mr B was at a meeting.
After spending the last few wedding vouchers, I headed to Eteaket – a tea boutique that I had heard about on Time Out.com which was amazing – they do the biggest range of teas and I treated myself to a Chocolate Abyss tea-latte which made me feel all warm inside. (It’s at 41 Frederick Street if you ever want to head there and the website too is tempting! http://www.eteaket.co.uk/)
An under-rated shop that I always buy something in is “The Works” – they always have discounted books, craft and stationary in there for bargain prices. I resisted the urge to buy lots of my new favourite author – Alexander McCall Smith (who is a local author in Edinburgh – he’s famous for writing the Ladies Detective Agency books) but have made very strong hints to Mr B (in the hope for my upcoming birthday or for Christmas!).
Then I headed out to Princes Street Gardens, and as it was so sunny, took a few snaps on my phone to capture the brilliant sunshine on such a crisp autumn day. Enjoy!
