Finally! Summer is here (it’s even reached Inverness). Rather than turning to ice-cream to cool down in the heat, I have been using my Smoothie maker to quickly blend me a healthy (and cheaper) alternative to creamy/fruity Frappacinos. This is my favourite recipe, and it only requires 3 ingredients!
1 pot of 125g low fat fruity yoghurt (I chose raspberry)
1/2 banana (you could use more, but I prefer not to have smoothies with an overpowering banana taste)
80-100g of frozen mixed berries
A splash of cold water (optional; if you are impatient like me and don’t give the berries 30 mins to defrost slightly!)
That’s it, chuck it all in and blend it up until its super smooth. Using low fat yoghurt the calorie count is around 200.
