A few weeks ago, a friend was having a clear out of all kinds of cooking and baking magazines, books and baking tins -many either used once or in some cases, not at all! I happily took them off her hands (two big boxes!) in exchange for a donation to a local charity, and enjoyed spending a whole afternoon of browsing recipes! However I couldn’t justify keeping everything (see here for what I did nab!) so a lot did go down to the charity shop and a few local people took a few things too. However, I did spot a book that I liked the look of, and then realised I already had it (ironically from another blogger’s giveaway that I won!) – so I’m going to do another giveaway post!
The book is “Cupcakes from the Primrose Bakery” and while it is technically second hand, it is in perfect condition – you really wouldn’t know that it had been preowned.
The Primrose Bakery is in North London and there’s a lovely section written by the founders on the history and ethos of the bakery before some beautiful and delicious cupcake recipes are shared with the reader. Sections include festive and seasonal cupcakes, cupcakes for special occasions, and helpful chapers on decorations, icings, and techniques.
To enter the giveaway, just take the following easy steps:
