Our house faces east, so we get some really good sunrises over the autumn and winter months. On Saturday I was up early and was able to enjoy the beautiful colours of the sky as the sun ascended.
We also headed down to Aviemore for a walk. The colours of the trees were beautiful, even on such a drizzly day.
Yesterday I had a belated birthday lunch with friends at the Dores Inn, on the bank of Loch Ness, before doing one of our favourite drives around the area and spotting some wandering deer and cattle as well as a classic Highland Cow (Heilan Coo).
Beautiful photos (and very dramatic!)
