Product Review: Go Ahead Snacks

July 25, 2014 by Susan Leave a Comment

Last summer I signed up to bzzagent – a company that send through products and samples for you to try and then review via various social media outlets. After an initial campaign to take part in, it then went a bit quiet. So I was happy when bzzagent then contacted me a few weeks ago advising me that I was part of a new campaign to review the Go Ahead! range of snacks.

Go Ahead produce a massive range of tasty low calorie snacks – hence the idea that you can ‘Go Ahead’ and enjoy them at your leisure. I was already familiar with the range as we buy cereal/snack bars on rotation – depending what’s on offer at the shops at any particular time!

I was sent three packs of Go Ahead! snacks;

  • Strawberry Yoghurt Breaks
  • Chocolate Orange Thins
  • Crispy Fruit Slices

I liked all three flavours, but I preferred the ones coated with yoghurt or chocolate as they complement the fillings of the biscuits well. They are perfect for a snack if you really can’t hold off snacking until your next meal, or if you like to snack in the evenings, these are a definitely healthier choice than crisps or chocolate, and just as tasty! I also have had these as part of  breakfast with fruit and yoghurt after my morning swim, which gets me through the morning until lunchtime.

– I was sent complimentary Go ahead! product samples by Bzzagent who encourage their subscribers to write honest reviews. I wasn’t paid for my time and have written a review according to my experience –
