Review: Valentines Gifts with Snapfish

February 11, 2016 by Susan Leave a Comment

I received an email from Snapfish at the beginning of the month – helpfully reminding me of Valentine’s Day (14th Feb) which is now, just around the corner.  (I hadn’t forgotten, but it did give me a helpful reminder to buy Mr B a card and gift!)

Snapfish kindly offered me an opportunity to peruse and preview their range of Valentine gifts, which range from cushion covers to fridge magnets! I had ordered from Snapfish before and had been very happy on every occasion with their print quality, so I ordered a couple of items which remind us of fun times we’ve had in our 5.5 years together.

I knew that Mr B (and I am the same to be fair) would prefer to have a gift which reminded us of fun memories, rather than lovey-dovey faces plastered over a cushion (it’s fine for others of course, it’s just not very ‘us’!) so I chose a fun picture from our wedding day in 2011, when we got bombarded with confetti, and a much more recent photo from a day trip to Wester Ross on a brilliantly sunny day. We love finding good stunning countryside views together, so this reminds us to prioritise the time to do this on our days off together.

As usual, the uploading process was very simple and quick. In fact both of these photos were uploaded from Facebook and I was a bit  (unduly) worried that they wouldn’t have a good resolution when printed. There were lots of different ways in which I could have personalised the mug in terms of photo layout, but I really liked the polariod stack effect on the mug I chose. I also added the date of our wedding on the other side of the mug and there were lots of lovely different text style options to use.

The items were delivered seperately and were extremely quick. I ordered both items on the Monday night and both were with me by Saturday morning. The mug was in tact, wrapped tightly in cardboard wrap. The phone cover does fit very snugly on an iphone 5s, and the satin finish on the photo gives me confidence that the picture is protected for years to come. The plastic case does feel good quality and provides good protection for the phone, without being bulky.

While it might now be too late to order a gift for your Valentine this year, why not keep Snapfish in mind if you ever need to order any personalised photo gifts for friends or family?

I received a credit to use against a Snapfish order for the purposes of this blog post.
