Today I’m sharing a few pictures from being out and about in the Highlands during the last few weeks, which on their own wouldn’t fill a whole post, but cobbled together, give you a postcard-esque flavour of the scenery that’s not to be missed up in the Scottish Highlands!
The Cairngorms are just an hours drive from Inverness, where there is beautiful scenery. This is Loch Morlich. Visitors can simply enjoy sitting on the beach to enjoy the mountain view, take part in some watersports or take a hike around the loch.
Visiting friends and I embarked on a maiden voyage on the Dolphin Spirit boat trip from Inverness Harbour. While no dolphins were spotted this time, it was a lovely trip out along the Beauly and Inverness Firths.
Finally, on the way home from a trip west across the Bealach na Ba to Applecross, we stopped off at Rogie Falls, to wander across the suspension bridge and get some shots of the stunning falls.
