Views of Torridon

June 15, 2015 by Susan Leave a Comment

On Mr B’s birthday (see the birthday cake I made him), we headed out west towards Torridon for a walk and lunch. We went to Gille Brigdhe, where we went last September. The food was still as delicious and there were some new items on the menu. However today rather than telling you about the food, I’m posting some of the photos I took during the road trip. This part of Scotland is just stunning and if you are ever thinking of heading to the Highlands, you can’t miss out the Torridon/Applecross area. I still think of myself as a city girl but you really can’t beat this bay (Lower Diabaig) and the hills of the west coast of Scotland.

Photos really don’t do it justice! (Maybe you’ll make it here yourself one day, I’d recommend it!)

Love the photographs – Wester Ross is probably my favourite area of the Highlands. You’re right though, its hard to do it justice in photographs, although these ones are stunning (I’m from Caithness, by the way – I found you through Sarah Rooftops’ blog – quite excited to find another Highland blogger 😀 )

Hello! It’s very exciting to find another Highland blogger! I have to say that we’ve only ventured as far north as Dornoch – must make it further north one of these days!
