Banana and Date Loaf

September 16, 2014 by Susan Leave a Comment

I have to say that I enjoy making a loaf cake. I had some over-ripe bananas and wanted to do something different to a usual banana bread I usually make. Thankfully one of my recipe books had a recipe for a Date and Walnut Loaf. I wasn’t too sure about how the dried dates would taste in the loaf, and did have a fleeting moment of wanting to soak the dates pre-baking so they were softer in the mix, but I stuck firmly to the recipe and it was a successful bake!

But post-bake; a delicious moist banana and date loaf!
